is pleased to announce the 'going live' of our new online BOMA Knowledgebase. "Since being appointed by BOMA
in 2004 as the Official Interpreter of the BOMA Floor Measurement Standards, we've been fielding on average a half
dozen questions per day, via the web and phone, on the Standards", says Steve Orser, President, Floorplans Ltd.
"We wanted to develop an online database of all questions and answers, something easy to use, query on,
and print reports from. I believe we've done that, and hope everyone finds it of use." The Knowledgebase is easily
accessible from the Floorplans home page.

Steve Orser, President, announced the successful completion of the
contract with Jones Lang LaSalle, to measure approximately 2000 Bank of America retail banking centers
across the US, totalling over 10 million square feet. “ "This represents the largest project we've undertaken
to date, but the resulting quadrupling of our surveying crews has left us in a very unique position in this industry,
with the very real capability and capacity to take on measuring projects of any size and complexity, in any geographical configuration" said
Steve. “ "I am tremendously proud of the work, dedication, and professionalism displayed by all of our people on this
huge project".”.

Floorplans as the exclusive consultant for interpretations of the BOMA floor measurement standards.

The recent issue of InFocus, a publication of the Fraser Health
Authority (operator of 12 Acute Care Hospitals in the Fraser Valley),
featured an article describing
Building Surveyor Chris Irving’s role in updating hospital
Floorplan data to be used in the Authority’s Archibus system.
Chris is one of four technicians engaged in updating data for over
1 million square feet in four regional hospitals.

exhibited in the recently held Bomex trade show, official trade
show connected with the annual Boma Canada Convention. Kerry Keilty
said “ This was our first attendance at this show, and we
were impressed with the high quality of the facilities and the exhibits.
Not only did we meet many new members, but visited with lots of
friends from throughout the US and Canada.”
September 5th, 2003 – Victoria, B.C.
Steve Orser, President, announced the successful completion of the
contract with VFA, Inc., to measure over 5 million square feet of
medical facilities. “While keeping up with the growing demands
of our current clients, this project was a major test of our ability
to ramp up for a special project on very short notice” said
Steve. “ And we passed”.
July 1st, 2003 – San Francisco, CA
Floorplans
concluded its’ exhibit at the Office Building Show, part of
the Boma International Convention here in San Francisco. Kerry Keilty,
VP Marketing, said “ This is our fourth consecutive participation
in the Boma International Convention, and returning each year we
can now look forward to renewing friendships as well as meeting
new members.”

with VFA, Inc., of Boston MA, to measure and draw an estimated 5
million square feet of medical facilities. Said Steve, “ This
is our largest single project to date, and we are looking forward
to the challenges it presents.”

Kerry Keilty, VP Marketing, concluded a successful seminar for attendees
at the Buildex Trade Show at the Vancouver Convention Center today.
“ The use of the Ansi-Boma Office Measurement Standard Z65.1
– 1996 to establish Rentable lease areas is prevalent in the
commercial office industry, yet much misconception exists about
how to work with it. We have designed our seminar to make the day
to day application easier, and it is very well received.”
